Objective

Client Genoa CFC decides to engage fans with interacting activities after each game in the Serie A TIM 2017-2018. The goal is to offer an experience in on-field after involving supporters with a post-game digital format that increases the volume of traffic on the official website.

Solution

To achieve Genoa CFC goal, Datalytics develops the #GenoaMVP format that allows all fans voting on social media the Most Valuable Player (or Man Of The Match) after each match of Serie A TIM. Fans are asked to vote with a motivation, triggering a competition mechanism based on the amount of interactions obtained from each personal vote. On the Genoa CFC site is embed a real-time ranking of the most voted players after each match, later unveiling the MVP of the month that is rewarded on-field by the same fans who have obtained the highest number of interactions with their votes.
